So I was checking out some other top 10 hip hop charts and came accross this video by D. Millz called “Cashed My Check” as #2 on MTV’s site.  Expecting to hear a half decent song, I googled the video on youtube and the following is what I saw:

Are you kidding me?  I know he is trying to be funny, but this video has FAIL all over it.  Who is this guy, he has no flow and his voice is horrible?  Did his dad pay for him to make this video to help his son pursue his dream of becoming a “big rapper”.  Not that you can even call that stuff rap or hip hop, its more pop if anything.

Anyway, I can appreciate that he tries to add humour to his music, but I can almost guarantee this will be his first and probably last “big song” and I don’t know who the deaf people out there are that are voting this one up on the charts.  Hopefully he saves the money that he makes from cashing this check because I don’t see a future for this guy as a rapper.
