Check out Mavado new tune called “House Top” off of the hot Roof Top Riddim 2010. All i have to say is thank god that war between Vybz and Movado is finished cause now we can hear music like this. I still think Mavado has a better handle on the Dancehall scene but Vybz is better lyrically. Right now as it stands Vybz is the only one coming out with hot song and nothing from anybody else. Mavado just released this tune that going to be hot in no time. You know you can feel free and write what you want below a at our comments section.
Nah jed Kartel not better off lyrically. Mavado is d baddest Badman. Kartel can’t hold a candle to him.
Tuff call. They are good on different levels. Mavado actaully has a good voice and stronger message to ppl. Though vybz kartel has come out with hit after hit after hit…….
Mavado is a great artist, but i find myself listening to more of Kartel’s music. Brown Bottle/Last Night/Gully Side are a few of my favs from Mavado, but almost all of Vybz tunes be good. Last Man Standing/ Love Dem / Mi Baby / Trailer Load of Money / Million Dollars By The Morning .. and a few more. He jus seems to have an edge over Mavado jus a bit.
well even though i’m not too much a dancehall fan i can’t help but enjoy both men but i like mavado more he good ppl abd he has far to go in the music business . most times i don’t understand kartel lyrics.
i jus think movado is a positive singer like all other male dancehall singer but he does give yuh de full swing no hating between vybz and movado let them do their thing and stay bless and peaceful.

Dancehalll music is composed of all these two guys, without them then no Dancehall music. But I love Movado more than Kartel.
kartel a di baddest , where as mavado may put out a goodtune like evry 6 months vybz put out loadsss and most of them are good, he sings for the people he is putting out the best music is dance hall straiiight
i think kartel is a better singer than movado. i was a fan of movado but he made kartel started to sing better song than him.i am so obessed with kartel i want to meet him in real life. but i still love u mavado.
Well both a d artist soun gud but I got 2 say Movado’s songs are more interesting than Kartel.They seem to make more sense and they are straight to the point.No lata beating around the bush.Movado u a d best and Kartel still gud.

Kartel more poetic and lyrically aggressive, but Movado have better hooks. Listen to HOUSE TOP, the majority of the song is the hook cause it sweet.
and yea, Kartel consistent since Tek Buddy Gyal, and Mavado does do rhell shit sometimes. but when he come, he coming correct. i say it hard to compare them, cause all ah dem is shit compared to man like TERROR FABULOUS, BEENIE, MERCILESS, BOUNTY, DON YUTE, MAD COBRA, SPRAGGA, DADDY SCREW, & SHABBA RANKIN ! ! !
