RRR, If you have any kind of connects to the artists please tell them this from a true fan, and I speak for many: Reggaeton video directors should take a step back and look at what they’re doing. I’m from the Bronx and Reggaeton is suffering over here. We don’t even get concerts here anymore, not like before. Most Americanized women like it but since they stopped playing Reggaeton videos on MTV and BET people have to search through the internet and unknown Spanish networks or MTV3, which rarely plugs music videos. Videos are a chance to spread your music visually, especially to those who don’t speak your language. Reggaeton is supposed to be sexy, exciting and at times sensual, and they need to reflect that in these videos. This will at least generate more word of mouth popularity and that can take you far. All this will help the artists, genre, and fans. I’m sorry. I’m just calling it like I see it and I want to see Reggaeton back on top to its glory days. For that we need change; videos are a great place to start.
