Machete Music Tour 2010

This weekend Madison Square Garden was completely sold out so see one of the biggest Reggaeton concerts in US history. There was over 6,000 Reggaeton fans ready to see some of the biggest names in the industry such as Ivy Queen, Cosculluela, Don Omar and Tego Calderon for the Machete Music Tour 2010.
Screams where heard from outside when Don Omar hit the stage. Fans patiently waited to see him preform for the first time and were not disappointed.
This concert was a great boost for the Reggaeton industry due to the decline sales from illegal downloading. Despite the fierce competition online that plagues the artist sales this was a positive sign that the new genre is here to stay for a while.
Fan’s have already started booking at the official Machete Music Tour where they might be heading to a city near you. There next destination will be El Paso on November 4th 2010 and the Los Angeles on November 6th 2010.

6,000 or was that a mistake?!?!
Must be 60,000 right?!
Yeah i thought the same but for concerts they hold less. I did more research and found out from Wikipedia -” The Theater at Madison Square Garden, which seats between 2,000 and 5,600 for concerts”. For other sports events holds around 20,000.
